This week I focussed on conducting research for what I would like to bake in the next coming weeks. I did a lot of research on how to bake scones as those are my family's favourite brunch item. I found a few recipes that I will further take a look at such as chocolate chip scones, white chocolate raspberry scones and gingerbread scones. As I was researching I realized that there are several different types of scones as well as different ways to bake them. I needed to narrow my search to find the best one. My challenge this week was narrowing down my options and for next week I will have one picked and continue my research for my second dessert. I need to stay focussed and be selective with my options as this will be my first time baking these desserts. From here I need to just continue what I am doing in order to complete my genius hour!
